Blindbag question
« on: December 03, 2014, 10:41:15 AM »
So I noticed most of my blindbags have a  # on the bottom of their hooves. Ive noticed I have doubles of the same pony but they have diff #s, some have the same. Does that mean its from a different wave or do they just all have #s associated with them? Thanks!

The numbers are the production date so most likely the same pony with different code is from a different wave, or at least a different production run. Some of the ponies that came in mini figure sets don't have codes at all.

I did quite some research on them a few months ago: http://www.mlpmerch.com/2014/03/guide-what-do-codes-under-my-mlp.html
They're production codes (year and day of the year) and another codes on the bottom indicates what product they're from.

Its all thanks to GI Joe collectors that we know!

A lot of GI Joe toys have had this coding for a long time and after some research they were able to come up with the reasons behind the codes. We shared it on the Arena a few years ago; the 5 digit number indicates the actual date of manufacture and the # number tells you the product's manufacture code :)

Pretty cool - how organised these ponies are!
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
