Looks like cheesecake is in the lead! Dang, that's like the most expensive thing!    I did take the advice on gummi bears though! I bought some Haribo brand bears... I will wait a couple more days for the final tally before buying cheesecake or something else!

Good old marshmallows are a standby another good choice is plain ruffled potato chips. The salty sweet taste is amazing!

I went to a really fancy brunch place for my 16th birthday and they had 3 chocolate fountains (one for milk chocolate, one for dark, and one for white.) I had never heard of such a thing existing before. They had some really cool and interesting choices to dip into chocolate like chili peppers and chocolate chip cookies, but the star was homemade crepes that they made on the spot with your choice of filling and dipped them in the fountain when they were rolled up. I had a strawberry shortcake-filled crepe dipped in white chocolate. Twas extremely delicious!

I DO have two fountains this year... I could add dark or white chocolate (or caramel...mmmmmmmmmm!) but it's pretty expensive to get the good chocolate. The fountain requires FOUR POUNDS of chocolate (1.8 kg!) to operate smoothly, and that's about $32 of good quality chocolate. If I time it right I can get coupons, and get the price down to about $25...

Awesome spread!  With as popular as the strawberries and bananas were, maybe for a future party you should do a fruit theme!  Bananas, mango, all kinds of berries... mmm...

The fondue fountain!! I did end up buying cheesecake and featured it midway through the party. The MOST popular were: #1 strawberries, and #2 bananas. The pretzels and marshmallows were popular too. Although yummy, I would avoid the gummi bears and small marshmallows next time... with their small size they can fall into the fountain and clog the auger.

I would love to do another fondue party with arena members! Stay tuned!?

I didn't realize this was for a fountain. We always use a fondue set with flame or tea light under it. So no clogging risk lol and they at small so big marshmallows would be awkward. Glad you and your guests enjoyed it!
