Personally I support repinking in many cases (though if a pony still has some original pink I'd rather keep her like that than repink it) as I consider it to be restoring a pony. However I also believe in being entirely truthful with other collectors, so if it's a pony I will ever sell I make sure it's noted and described as having been repinked when I sell it (as I would with any restoration work).
For a very very long time I held off on it as I was worried I'd regret it but it got silly when I was trying to buy the exact same pony I already had just because she had pink hair (and lets be honest, someone else may have repinked her in the past anyway). So I tried it and have now done quite a few of my own ponies. There are some ponies though that I have left white because I've had them so long that the white looks normal and the idea of pink is odd  :lol:

I'm with the there's no harm in it but it's not original crew. If it feels like the right thing to do then go for it.  :)

Repink-ing is altering a pony so to me it wouldn't be original.

Allowing a pony's hair to fade is also altering it, in my opinion.  I don't mind repinks that are well-executed.

I am a re-pinker, I see no harm in it. If I am to sell one of those it's one of the top things to mention though.

Agreed. It's, in the end, one of those "your pony, your choice" things. I've repinked plenty of ponies but nowadays especially if it's a pony I'm really fond of I'll avoid hair that's too faded in the first place.

I'd love to re-pink some of my ponies hair, but unfortunately I have no idea how to do it. ; A;
Anyway, I'd say pink all the way to make them look as pretty and as near to their former glory as possible!

I am a picky collector so pinking is not for me.  I will re pink hair to pass the pony along to another collector but I don't keep them myself.

I repink all ponies I plan on selling (always disclosed of course)  From my experiences it definitely increases the selling price. That or buyers don't read anything which is becoming more and more of a problem...
