what do you use to ship your G4s?
« on: November 15, 2014, 04:43:20 PM »
I've been searching everywhere for small enough boxes to ship g4s that are mint on card. Can anyone point me in a good direction?

Have you tried the small flat-rate USPS priority boxes? I'm not sure they will work but they're free if you ship at that rate.

I bought some at target that were the perfect size when bubble wrap was added

I just make my own small box out of a bigger one if I don't have one suitable :)

Same here     helping the environment and saving money at the same time = good to me :)  I always have a decent stash of packing boxes , some are small enough for MOC G4 , if not then I just cut them down to the right size after I've bubble wrapped the pony etc   you can usually get free boxes from shops (a lot of newsagents or shops that sell general stuff are usually happy to let you take empty boxes off their hands for free) or reuse ones that people  have sent items to you in :good:

I would recommend checking with your local grocery store to see when they stock the health and beauty section and if you are allowed to take their empty boxes. That's the best department for smaller light-weight boxes (but make sure you get the ones that are sturdy enough to ship) so that you can still send first class but have the MIB ponies be protected. I usually just go to the grocery store mid-morning and they will have a cart with the flattened empty boxes and I just check with whoever is stocking and take what I need. I just got some yesterday!

Walmart is also an option but most of them stock overnight so you basically have to stalk them after midnight to get boxes.

I took them from work haha. Most stores will let you unless it is a specific box that needs to be reused or shipped back. You can call the Manager on Duty and ask permission before coming to the store.
