When do you put your Christmas tree up?

Usually around the beginning of December for us.

Mine goes up on the first weekend of December. I like to make the tree trimming a family thing with me, my fella and his daughter, under the excited and fuzzy supervision of my cat

Lol, after this topic-  when I got home I asked my wife when we should put the tree up this year.  She told me I was not even allowed to ask that question until after Thanksgiving.  Sigh...

I am envious of those of you who can have real trees.  We to have a fake one because the cat is obsessed with climbing and eating the real ones  (well, she climbs the fake one too but it seems more sturdy and is less tasty thank goodness)

Usually after the first day of Chanukah if the eight days run into or near Christmas. We put it up after Thanksgiving last year because it was so early.

That's so funny!  I am wondering what my cat will think of the artificial tree.  Many years ago I had a ferret and it ran up the trunk of the real tree and hid in the branches.

We buy ours on 23rd and put it up on Christmas Eve and it stays until mid January. We always have a real tree so it wouldn't last much longer than that.
Oh my, we have a new cat, or to be more precise a kitten. I don't even want to think about how the tree is going to look like
