I don't understand why Cheerilee has straight bangs when she is clearly a curly-maned pony?

I'm really disappointed  I was actually getting excited for her too but she doesn't look like herself, I have to pass on her.

me too, i was so very excited to see the title and scrambled to page three, im upset and agree, she is not herself  and they have made her far too light in colour, she should at least be the colour of her darker shade leg instead of the pale purply pink colour.
im hope they improve her later on, then i might get her.

very excited about everything else though, they all look great but scared at the same time they might faze out the ponies with all these dolls.

I was really pumped for Cheerilee, because i thought they would make her dark pink with curly hair...Another miss for me, sadly.

I never considered Cheerilee to be curly maned/haired. Her bangs are not as straight as those on the doll but i really wouldn't call them curly either.
Also, her skintone in the movies isn't dark pink either.

I wish Cheerilee was darker.  Actually I wish any of the Equestria Girls characters were darker.  Even if their ponies are, they're not.  :/

Yeah, I noticed that too. Even though they are all fantasy colored, none of them are actually dark colored- even the ones that were darker colored ponies like Cheerilee

These dolls have great potential but so far I haven't liked any of them.
I've seen some beautiful customs, but that's about it.

Hope no one minds me commenting again! But after sleeping on it, I think Cheerilee may have grown on me, maybe it's just that she was my favorite core seven so I feel like I have to like her....But her glasses are pretty rockin.
