It's time for Round 1! It's a rather easy challenge to get things started. There are twenty-four ponies that need to be ID'd, for a total value of 62+ points. Here's how to score points:
1 point - Name of pony (extra point if you list an alternate name of the pony)
1 point - County of origin
1 point each - If there are several different versions of the Nirvana, list any and all descriptive qualities that will narrow down the pony (symbol or color differences, etc)
1 point - Identifying rehaired pony
I think I've covered everything. Answers are due Nov 20th.
Please PM answers and do not post in this thread.Winner will be announced after Nov 20th and will be responsible for the next round.

Some of you might remember a contest that Oneleo and I hosted years ago. Basically we arranged ponies in piles and obscure formations, gave each pony a number, and members sent their guesses for each via PM. We kept score and announced a winner at the conclusion of two weeks.
I would love to do something like that but only for Nirvana ponies. It would help newcomers to identify more Nirvanas that we aren't too familiar with, and ideally it'll put the most experienced veteran to the test! However, something like this would require user submissions. I was thinking that I'll post the first pile, and then the winner of that round will post the second. Perhaps we'll allow three days for participants to submit guesses? Does that sound fair? Participants would receive 1 point for naming each pony correctly (i.e. Blossom, Bowtie, etc), 1 point for naming the correct country of origin (i.e. Peru, Brazil, etc) and 1 additional point if other pertinent information is listed (i.e. if pony is a rehair, specifying the tail/hair color or symbol for Princess ponies if said attributes vary from the US counterpart, etc).
I should have some time to take a photo tomorrow. Who's in?
