Helen is back....

So last Halloween I stuffed my wetsuit with towels, dressed it and popped on a pigeon mask to make a terrifying scarecrow type person to set out for the trick-or-treaters....  People were seriously SO SCARED of her!  But actually, so were we! I had her set up on the office desk for a day, and every time I saw her out of the corner of my eye, I'd have a heart attack!  She scared my wife so bad that she made me stick her in the guest room until show-time.  I also named her "Helen" to make her less terrifying, hehe

Well, she's back this year, and guess who ISN'T scared of her- AT ALL...

I cosplay a lot, dogs and children get so confused. But my cats are like "Oh look, mom's being weird again." ah, cats. Helen is awesome though! she probably smells like you guys and it makes kitty happy.

Though I can guarantee you, that if I stumbled upon her in the dark I'd probably freak out. I'm a scardey cat.

Even though I built her, she does give me a start if I see her out of the corner of my eye, she seems like a person sitting unnaturally still ... maybe waiting to pounce?  There is something about her that plays tricks with your head...

Trick-or-treaters are convinced there is someone in there waiting to pounce- so it makes her much more scary than your usual prop, he he
