I only ordered Luna and Celestia, so there's nothing else in the order that could've shipped already. But I never got an email about my order shipping either?

Hey there I found it very interesting your order shipped two days early did you order overnight shipping? I just talked to hot topics website and they told me no orders would have shipped before today.

I would call ahead of time, but her street date is today!  It seems that those of us who pre-ordered have had our figures shipped out, so I would definitely call Hot Topic and see if they have any in stock.

They should at least send you an email telling you that your package has arrived at the store.  I've only ever had problems with shipping notifications, but you can also check that if you have an account on HT's website.  That's how I know when my stuff ships.  They're really good at sending emails when your items get to the store.

I'm a bit uneasy about my order-  I ordered by telephone (because the site was crashed for so long due to traffic) and although I got a confirmation number, it doesn't show up on the site, and I never got an email.  I called customer service to ask them whether I could get an email confirmation, and they told me that phone orders don't get an email sent out until the order ships.

So who knows whether it actually went through or not?  Guess I'll find out.

that is good to know! I only ever ordered from them twice, and the first time was a ship-to-store order and i do think they did let me know it arrived in the store. I dont have an account of their site (since I rarely order from them due to living ten minutes away from a store), so worse case scenario I'll call them on Friday and see if it has arrived. Or whenever you guys mention your orders have arrived. xD

Nope... Just regular ground shipping. I thought it was weird too. Last I checked, the transaction with Hot Topic was still pending in my PayPal account as well. :/

Mine also said that it shipped on the 2nd of this month, but the pending transaction in my bank account is gone.  Super weird!

The same thing happened to me when I ordered over the phone. They didn't send an email until they actually shipped the item. There was no confirmation email but the package came fairly quickly.

I know I was worried too though....the guy that I ordered from seemed very unprofessional....I was like ummmm is this really Hot Topic???
