Cutie Pops: Unreleased version of Carmel?

Hey everyone ^^ I discovered Cutie Pops while shopping yesterday, and I know I'm late to the game but I think they're just darling! I managed to get first wave Chiffon and Cookie as well as Sweets wave Chiffon and Carmel. I hunted hard at every Marshalls/Winners in town but couldn't find three of the dolls I was missing- first and Sweets wave Candi, as well as what appeared to be a first wave Carmel. When I got home and looked her up I couldn't seem to find any information on this doll, was she just never made? If someone can shed some light on her, I'd really appreciate it! This is the version I'm talking about here (from the back of Cookie's box):

I think that was just the original Carmel prototype. She was shown at NY Toy Fair. The unreleased clothing/pops have always made me sad ):

Thanks so much for the heads up on the toy fair, I looked up a video and omgosh, her original hair pops were are incredible!! I'd pay many dollars to have "Chocolate" MIB. Too bad she never made it to shelves, I love her theme. and dress.

You're welcome! Its always nice to see another Cutie Pops fan. We're a rare breed. xD

Personally I've always been most haunted by the oreo pops (I believe they were Cookie's). And of course the girls with jointed arms. I'd give quite a lot to get my hands on them or one of their bodies.
