I don't know that she does, but it sure looks like it's faded to me.
This is an older picture I had of her.

You can see the hint of pink at the tail base.

The pink in the mane is definitely there too! The camera flash looks to have brought it out a bit and it matches the shade of pink in the tail.  She's a pretty lady, too bad there haven't been any others. :(

Also shelti, if you'd like me to, I could organize and make the list uniform tomorrow for you! It's going to be an uneventful day tomorrow and I know you um... Y'know.. Have a life. :lmao:

Thanks chi, I will keep my little list the way it is but why don't you take the list over from here on out?
My time constraints for watching the auctions on ebay are getting tighter and I am out of town a lot

If you look at the other thread I believe all of the red haired Ajs have been posted.
Looks like there are two magenta red haired applejacks, one deep Cherry red haired aj with gold body, and three medium red haired Ajs. Mine is the one sold on ebay last week by Ed  with the deep cherry red hair.

I have decided because of the quality or lack of it of some of the pictures to lump them together as red or dark red on my list.  To really verify a color difference in the hair you would need to have the actual ponies to compare.  As far as body coloration, as seen with Tootsie a quality control issue in most cases.
These ponies were all sold by Ed / Dorindarules on ebay
This pony was on ebay Oct 2014

The top one appears to have darker hair than the others but that's it.

They'd have to all be photographed in bright lighting without flash to try verifying. I didn't realize they were that similar from auction photos.

Would it be fair to say 1 with dark red hair and 4 with red hair?

Also Chi, if you notice the Oct pony picture from ebay has been faded to disguise the marks on the face.  Some of the pictures have been enhanced, notice the hair distortion.

Actually that photo is not altered. This pony is very pale and not yellow like the others but pale golden.
I bought this pony and her hair is super dark. Here are comparison photos.
She looks to be different than the others. It would be great if we were able to compare them side by side.
