Shout Factory is going to release My Little Pony the movie in 2015

Hi,

I was looking on the  Shout Factory website and saw they are planning to release My Little Pony the movie in January 2015. :)  I know a lot of people have been wondering if the movie would be released again.

I hope they'll also release My Little Pony Tales.

Hoorah!  It would be great if they tacked uncut versions of Rescue at Midnight Castle and Escape from Catrina onto the movie DVD.

that would be great, but I think there was an article saying that there may be no surviving copies of the uncut versions. which I'm hoping I'm wrong

just hope they don't edit it.
we have an un-edited copy on vhs, but my player is broken and i can't watch it anymore.... :cry:

Yay.  I'll probably have to get it sometime.  (Never seen it, but I'd liked the Sunbow cartoons that I watched, so I'm assuming I'll like this too.)

And totally agreeing, would love to see the Tales series actually released on DVD. That would be wonderful. :)

Wasn't the unedited version released on DVD before?  I know the previous version included the flume plant and Shadow Forest scenes which I had heard were cut from certain releases.

You know what would be really awesome? I think they should include Jewel's My Little Obsession documentary as an extra on the movie release. Shout Factory added a documentary about transformers collectors to their boxed set of the 80's transformers cartoon, so it could be really fun to have them do it for ponies too. :)

Maybe I should suggest it to my Fair contact at Shout! :)
