PC on Celestia Prototype

I'm looking to purchase her and I'm wondering just how much I should spend?  I've been wanting her for a while now. I was so excited for her through the mirror release and now that I actually own a white celestia I really want her prototype. She's so gorgeous!!!! I opened her last night and I still haven't stopped smiling. This is exactly what collecting is about :)! I've missed this feeling. Thank you hasbro; inducing smiles and happiness since 1980's. Sorry for the rant).

Not sure if she would still command the same prices as when she first came out a couple of years ago, but she was sitting at about $100.

She runs about $150-$175.  She hasn't been $100 in a loooooooooong time.

She is still a prototype too, and very clearly different than the new white Celestia. Her hair has more colors, is thicker, and her eyes are painted different. She still stands out as unique, which is of course what makes her expensive.  Kind of like Minty A and B, we have Minty B all over the place, but Minty A is still prettier and more special...

Her release has down valued her - before an official release she was selling around the $250+ mark. Now, I think the $120 mark is more where she is likely to be. The problem is before you had a market of everyone who wanted a white Celestia. Now you have a smaller market and its only people who want or collect prototypes who are after her. Plus there is always the risk that she will be retail released again more similar to her prototype.

However with all that, she is still a super hard to find pony in that version and I think therefore she is better to auction than to sell :)
