My very first was Red, and I picked Charmander. Never let him evolve, either. It was funny kicking butt of all the gigantic ones with a lil 'mander.

My very first starter was Piplup... I was never really interested in the actual pokemon games until a friend sent me her extra copy of Pokemon Pearl... needless to say I'm hooked now.  Had I started with the older games, I probably would have picked Bulbasaur... he's my favorite of the original three.

My first ever starter was Squirtle....I also was kind of silly as a kid, forgot to save once Wartortle evolved into Blastoise, and thought he devolved. xD

My first was my Yellow version Pikachu when I was like 8 or 9. I'm almost 25 now and have preordered the newest game so nearly 15 years hasn't dampened my Pokemon fandom at all.

Crystal - Cyndaquil (and maybe Chikorita)
Ruby/Sapphire - Torchic
Emerald - Torchic
LeafGreen/Fire Red - Charmander

Plenty of fire starters... But I like fire type pokemons. Ninetales, my ultimate favourite pokemon. Maybe I should try another starter... Just maybe.

I play Crystal and Sapphire are most often played Pokemon games. I'm using emulator because I don't have GBA. However, I did clear Crystal and Sapphire using GBA, borrowed from a friend. My next goal is to get DS from my friend and play SoulSilver and Platinum. And, yes I will use fire starters...

Pokemon Crystal - Totodile named Andy. Why Andy? You see, I was at this one electronics store once and they had a Gameboy with a plugged in Pokemon Crystal which you could test out. The party had a couple Pokemon, including a Totodile whom someone nicknamed Andy. I liked the name so when I finally got my own Gameboy plus a copy of Pokemon Crystal, I decided to name my Totodile Andy. :)
Pokemon Emerald - Torchic
Pokemon Platinum - Chimchar
Pokemon Black - Snivy
Pokemon X - Froakie named Smeagol (it was when I decided to name all my Pokemon after Tolkien characters)

Let's see if I can remember all the games I've owned over the years XD

Ruby: Torchic (my very first game)
Blue: Blastoise
Gold: Cyndaquil
Fire Red: Charmander
Black: Oshawott
X: Fennekin

And for Omega Ruby I will be starting with Torchic again :)

in the games, my firsts were:

Silver: Totodile
Gold: Cyndaquil
Crystal: Chikorita- Leafer
Red: Charmander
Yellow: Pikachu (duh LOL)
Ruby: Torchic
Sapphire: Mudkip
Emerald: Treeko
Pearl: Chimchar
Platinum: Piplup
FireRed: Charmander
Leafgreen: Bulbasaur
SoulSilver: Totodile
HeartGold: Cyndaquil
White: Oshawott
White2: Snivy
X: Fennikin- Fenne
Y: Froakie

Omega Ruby will be: Torchic
Omega Sapphire will be: Mudkip or Treeko. Cant decide!

My first ever was Totodile. I have been a Pokemon fan since 1998 but my first actual game was Silver! The games above I listed in order I of which recieved/bought. I remember I was in 1st grade when it hit America- been a fan since! I still own and play these games BTW on their original systems!!! YES I still have my gameboy LOL I dont own Blue, Diamond, Black, Blacl 2, or any spin-offs. (I lost Pearl version at my husbands parents house- he was my boyfriend at the time LOL). Yay Pokemon!
:cheer:

I haven't played Pokemon Y in a while thanks to Smash Bros., but I believe it was a Girafarig in a Friend Safari.

I traded for a Shinx a couple weeks ago, I think. I can't remember who I caught last since I haven't played for a couple months.

The last Pokemon I caught was on Ruby a while back, it was either a Chimecho or a Relicanth; both are personal favourites. :D
