Mug Swap 2014 Brags Away! <3

Yes, I had both you and (mostly) your mom in mind for the fuzzy socks.    The sticky notes were actually the first thing I bought for the swap.

I didn't make the bowl/cup but I did paint the lotuses and moth. I wish I had managed better but I kinda ran out of time and energy...    It's a color adaptation on a silk moth I made up as the Google photo of said moth that comes up first is one of the cutest things I've ever seen!

I actually was settling on a mug I wasn't as sure about when I rounded a corner and saw the tall mug. It was like the clouds had parted and said "This is the Mug!" so I got it.    I'm glad you liked everything.

I really adore everything, and i LOVE LOVE all moths so right now the bowl is on my desk holding buttons for all my current knitting projects xD, after that I will need to find more uses. I doubt that will be hard as I have a collection of pottery bowls holding odds and ends that always accumulate on my desk xD.

Alexia was my partner and wow, she got me just right!  I love everything!  And I was totally spoiled! 

First, she picked out these adorable fall dish towels. Useful, festive, and in gorgeous colors!   The leaf shaped coasters are adorable, and that spiral trivet makes me incredibly happy. It smells like cloves and cinnamon which are some of my favorite scents.  I have my warm cup of tea sitting on it now and the room smells like peach tea and cloves.

I have so many goodies to try. Some I have never had before!  The blooming teas are something I always wanted to try. I love lemonade so I can't wait to try the local lemonade mix Alexia sent. Bacon hot cocoa?  Yes please!  I've never seen that before!  Neither have I seen green tea pocky sticks. Maple syrup is always welcome in my home. Thank you!

I've been needing a tea infuser.   I have lots of loose tea and my tea spoon infuser is off kilter.  I just adore the fact that you found me a clear mug which can also be used as a tea filter. The gold  mug can also be used to filter tea and Alexia used a cool technique to hand paint it. I do see the gold paint!  And the last mug is STURGEONS!  I love it!  It's going to work with me so I can show it off and point out that it names all the different kinds of sturgeon on it. I love that!  You really "got" me. . Thank you so much!

I am so glad you liked your package Marigold, I was a little nervous about how you would like the blooming tea but I almost ordered another glass mug for myself!  I couldn't place the scent of that trivet but it smelled amazing, glad it turned out to be a favorite scent!  Enjoy all your new treats!

I actually tried the little chocolate bars, I love the caramel in them and I am sure Hubby is going to gobble them up! Maybe it can be a good bribing tool to keep him away from my precious Haribo bears (we both love these and are constantly fighting over them LOL, I may just have to eat them all tonight before he gets home).

There are these tips on the back of the teas, I never knew that each of the varieties needed different brewing methods, now I can become a tea drinking pro!

Oh and you see that big dark mug back there?! There is a big surprise waiting when I filled it with tea (the new Devonshire Cream which is so delicious it tastes almost exactly like my favorite tea at the tea house, with my new infuser too)
