This girl was probably more complicated than she should have been! She is a G1 Sunspot that was full of rust. After scrubs and soaks, her body was saved at least.

I am always fascinated by process. The process of making My Little Ponies is beautiful to me. I love to peer inside their bodies and see their plastic swirls. With that in mind, I decided to try and showcase the INSIDE of a pony. I used delightful swirls of black paint to highlight this particular pony's inner swirls and plastic "fingerprints". I love the effect! Areas that have paint seem to have an orange glow, the black showing the hollow areas and the orange giving an idea of how thick it was poured. I digress.... (I did try a symbol on her, a raven. It just looked out of place. She's much better blank imo.)
This girl has lights! They flicker or remain still depending on the setting you chose. She has been rerooted in elegant black, with a simple design to keep the focus on the patterns. Her eyes have been painted with glow in the dark paint, easier to see when her lights are off. The lights are powered by 2 AA batteries and are super easy to change if needed!

That is a very cool concept and I love how the black swirls look on her. I also love looking at the plastic "fingerprints" in a pony when I've got her taken apart.

What a neat pony! The simple hair design really brings out the cool patterns. I love her creepy GITD eyes...

What a neat idea! I know what you are talking about with the plastic swirls, i've also noticed them esp on the sparkle ponies. She would make a great night-light or Halloween centerpiece!

This is such a unique custom! I love everything about her! That last shot is especially cool, I really love all the swirls on that side. I think leaving her so blank was the perfect touch to your concept, it lets all of that really stand out - this style of eyes suits her perfectly! I love this ^^
