Oh dear goodness, I found that Firefly figure in the wild (while searching around Forbidden Planet for Adios figures - to no avail) and it's hilarious! I am slowly inching into a state of being very tempted to invest in it for the comedy value. The book does look legitimately adorable, though.

Technically Hasbro didn't make her - she's a licensed figure (I believe Running Press made her, but I'm not certain) - but yes, she is a "real" thing. :B

I agree.  If they had just sculpted her mold properly!  It would not have been hard to do at all!  If she had been a proper Firefly repro, I would have probably bought a whole case of them.  Since she looks like a cheap fakie with a Botox addiction...  I won't even pick her up at a thrift store.    UGH!  Why is it every time that merchandisers have a chance to show that G1 can be sold again and make Hasbro some $$$$, the licensee always screws it up?
