What would be your ultimate thrift store find?

*Probably* would never find this, but a girl can dream, right? A Baroque-styled oboe (not one actually from the era, just one that is made in the style).

I know it would be best to order them directly from a maker, but that's the ideal ultimate thrift shop find I could think of. I think I have quite enough instruments, though, so it's best it doesn't happen. lol

Usually I'm hunting for ponies, or books from our collections (hubby is working on Dragonlance and I'm working on BSC, together we're working on Animorphs).

I'd love to find a My Pretty Pony or a Dream Castle, someday.

My big thing is exercise DVDs. I "only" have around 80-90 at the moment. I used to have several hundred, but I weed through them from time to time. I actually use the videos I have, though! (Some more often than others, of course.) And I always have more in my Amazon.com wish list. Anyway, my dream would be to find a lot of OOP and HTF exercise DVDs in new condition.

As far as MLP, I would love to find any G1 pony from the first 3 years MIB/MOC.

Non-pony: Old arcade cabinets or one of those in-store demo cabinet things.  I saw somewhere where someone scored an old Playstation demo cabinet from a thrift store for about $100.  Hey, a girl can dream right? :3

I did find parts of paradise estates at a good will, and they had no idea it was MLP, there was also a princess wand tucked away in the bag as well.

As for non-ponies.. I dream of finding a Catwalk Kitty in a charity shop or similar one day. *__* Love those kitties so much.. even if it was one of the Kitties I already have I'd be happy, haha.

I think mine would be the $100.00 handmade Kathy's Kreations stuffed coyote I found at Goodwill in great shape for only $10.00.  Here's my son goofing off with it, lol:

Once found an italian He-Man megator figure for £1, which turned out to be worth £400.

Non pony my best find was grey appy proud Arab mare for $18 at an antique store... Sold it for $1500. Best pony find was rapunzel for $3.50 on craigslist with accessories.

My dream would be to find some breyer decorators or in package mail order ponies.... Anything can happen right

I found her last week! Her ear is a little chewed up, but it happened!

Also, for me, my *ultimate* find would be like some vintage Apple stock certificates tucked away in the drawer of a piece of furniture I bought. I'd be a brazillionaire and could finally build the Sarah Memorial Pony Museum (although since I'm still alive, I would omit the "memorial" bit...)

She's a very rare doll made in the 1930's, early 1940's.  They were not even massively produced even then, and they are so rare that if three of them pop up on ebay in a year, it's pretty amazing. 

I am so lucky to have three of them, and one in each sized offered, but I'm greedy and I want another one because they're so heavenly beautiful and wonderful!

She is aptly named Sweetheart.  I would love to find in person versus just find them on ebay.

Mine would be Sweet Scoops, Rapunzel of course, not because I want her but because of the money, discovering a g1 none of us knew about, and of course and g1s MOC especially Mimic.

Non MLP find would be some priceless antique that I could sell to buy more ponies!
