Welcome to the Arena, Glitzi86!

Wow that's quite a collection! I loved reading through it to see what all you own.

Ponies have a room now
« Reply #17 on: June 26, 2015, 03:15:53 AM »
:newpony: I finally did it: I got some display cases for my birthday and set them all up. Now my ponies have a pretty new home and everybody can see them if they want (and dare to take the creepy stairs, of course  :P). We turned our storage room into a collector's room and there they are now: My Ponies, the Barbies and our old video games.

It's a nice room (although it is not completely finished yet) and a chance to take a break from bizarre adulthood. Just sit there and enjoy the feeling of good old days when your only worry was saving your pocket money for the fabulous prettiest pony of all times you had just spotted in the latest Pony magazine.  ^.^

I will add pictures in a few days. :art:

I am sorry, but I am obviously too stupid to include pictures.  Do I HAVE to sign up for photobucket? I'd rather upload smaller pics directly to the forum ... Can anybody please help me?

There are some pictures I am dying to show you - I just heard that I seem to have a very rare MLP item in my collection and was not even aware of this fact.  Love to hear more opinions about it!

Unfortunately you'll have to upload them on a site like Photobucket or something else, you can't just upload them here. :(

Hope to see them soon!

Thanks! I think I've had an account at some picture upload site ... maybe I can find out where it was and upload the new pics there.

I am so, so sorry I have not posted any pictures yet.  There's a lot going on in my life, but I'll spare you the details ...

Last weekend I found some old Pony stuff at my parent's house, I brought some of it home and try to find out what it is.  It's a lot of "Pony-Mami-Club" paperwork ... did you have clubs like that in other countries as well?  :what:

Wow! What an amazing selection! Other countries did have Fan Clubs but we all have variation in what was sent out - your collection looks wondeful.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Thank you!

I think, only the brochure in the upper left corner is from the fan club - all other things are from the magazine or were bought separately. But I still love flipping through that stuff, it brings back so many beloved memories ...  :lovey:

Hello there! Nice to see someone from Europe, the USA shipping for ponies is so expensive! :silly: Hope you will enjoy your stay and make your herd grow even more!

Thank you very much, you 2.

I still have my heart set on a Paradise estate, but there are few to buy in Europe ... anyway, I have waited for so long, I can manage to wait some more years.  ;)

edit: Found a pic on my phone. Look at all the Babies (and how happy they are in their new show room with all their original accessoires)! :lovey:

As I have said so many times before, I am not actively collecting. I am happy with what I have. This is why I got a package today - straight from the 80s. XD

I tried buying from the US (for the very first time outside Germany at all ...), got a Paypal account and "prayed" that customs were not interested in plastic ponies - and what can I say: It was just too easy. Need to be very careful now. Anyway, we welcome the first So Soft pony in our herd! :newpony: Pictures will follow after she moved into her new stable. ;)
