For the Twisted Fairytale Swap, Saja had Puss in Boots as one of her ideas, so I ran with that and created a "Pony in Boots" instead.  I have to give credit to Roogna for helping me choose a specific idea and giving me advice throughout.  I went with a  pirate theme overall, although I tried to keep some catty elements in there with her belt, earring and mask.  She's ready to try all her keys on that elusive treasure chest (when she finds it) and she's not above a little murder to get her way!

Pony in Boots started off as a G4 Fashion Style Pinkie Pie that I completely chopped apart and repositioned in a standing pose.  She is wired to the base, which is filled with rocks LOL then covered in Magic Sculpt and fake sand, shells and gems and a little skull (now I'm thinking I should have totally tried to make a pony skull! oh well, next time!).  Sculpting was all done with Magic Sculpt either on its own or over tin foil and painter's tape.  Her skirt is lifted up in the back so you can see her cheeky white ruffle underwear LOL (see detail pics in spoiler).  Painted with acrylics and Pearl-Ex powders, haired with some curly black hair (because I always think of pirate wenches with curly black hair for some reason!) and embellished with lots of little things like these awesome cat head beads I found on eBay).  She's got gold hoop earrings in both her ears, as well as one cat earring, a felt cat mask and a sword belt with sword, which is removable.

I had so much fun with this girl and I really learned a lot!  I hope she made it to you in one piece Saja and that you enjoy her as much as I enjoyed making her! :hug:

I would never have thought of re-positioning a pony for that theme, she looks wonderful! The detail is amazing, great work. :D
