Petite collectors! Aren't these prices a bit nutty? (eBay)

I actively collect most types of mini ponies, petites included. I know these are on the rarer side but why the insane price?

That's $40 each for the one with 3 and a whopping $60 each for the one with 2!

They never go up this high usually. Am I too used to partly concealed petites in lots with a bunch of common petites or blurry pictures?

Albeit those prices are a bit high for me, but I'll tell you, those glowing, shine brights, and sparkle petites are a living nightmare to track down. So the prices shouldn't shock me a whole lot, because once you see ones you need, it's cut throat as they don't come up too often listed as such.

I think I when I was at the end of searching for petites I paid $30-$40 for maybe 2 petites, but that is only because I wanted to be done collecting them.  So those prices are really high!

If someone is happy to pay then thats what a pony is worth at the end of the day Congrats to the buyer; they have probably been trying to track those down for a long time and well done to the seller.

Higher than average? Yup, they sure are but no retail price means a pony is worth what someone is willing to pay so clearly for at least 2 someones they are worth this.

I agree - the prices are high but then if the buyer was willing to pay that then that's what they're worth.

I wouldn't pay that much but then I've only just started collecting them so the lower price the better.
