Well if this is a pony band, consider me a crazed groupie.  I love Rockette's hair.  I like how you had a bit of an Asian theme going on, there. I also like how you posted what you learned.  I have actually toyed with the idea of using metallic embroidery thread for hair.

I have a little pen tool that has a wax tip, it was designed for picking up jewels.  I bought it from Hobby Lobby.     Buuut The waxyness on the tip eventually wore off for me, so I put some tacky on the end and it works great.  I just pick up the gem with the tip, dab it gently in drop of super glue, and fix it to the pony.  You can use a gloss modge podge over the top to help it stick better!

Wow!  What a stunning set of customs! Mint Lotus and Jiao are my personal favorites, but all of them are super lovely.
