Mug Swap 2014 ~ All shipped! All arrived!

Hmm debating joining this time around. I've gotten so many mugs from other swaps now it feels like I need more.

You do need more!!! Always more xD haha. And it's a pretty simple swap, so that's a plus!

Teehee I'm highly considering it! -squirms about-. I'm teaching again but oddly I only get paid once a month and not till Sept 20th, some of the swaps will have me purchasing stuff like right at the deadline.


My girls are lovely! Mina is a trouble maker and gets into everything. Indy is sweet but weird, she hates being held but rides on my shoulder, gives kisses and wants to play tackle constsantly. When I say she hates being held, like she will screech at the top of her lungs to avoid being held. I've never experienced that before it's weird.   Zoe is a sweetheart and sits with me a lot. She's also faded out to a full blown Siamese, beautiful girl.

Also, where I'm teaching we're allowed to have class pets if we teach 7th grade (and I do), so my class might be getting a pair of rats later on.

Candy that you like/dislike (please note any allergies!): The only candies I found that I do not like is sour things. My teeth can't handle them.

What kinds of mugs do you like? (Ex. Small, large, designs, etc.) Give your partner an idea of the things you like!: I am into large mugs, kitschy style, bright colors, pink mugs, funny, I am actually not very picky. Probably if you think it is cool, I would too. Only thing I don't like that I can think off hand is Disney.

What would be good extras for you?: I like stationary items like weird pens and pencils, notebooks etc, I prefer G1 ponies if there is any new small G1 style stuff out, I love owl stuff, things with bacon on it, and mustache stuff, candles, girly stuff, kitsch items, I am interested in the 60's retro styled stuff.

Do you drink tea/coffee/hot cocoa/ cider? Please include favorite flavors or any flavor you are NOT interested in: I am mostly a coffee person. But I occasionally dabble in tea, cocoa, and cider in the colder months. If I don't drink it my husband will.

What devices do you have for making your beverages? (coffee pot, Keurig, tea pot, coffee press, etc): I just have an old fashion 12 cup coffee pot and grinder.

Whats your favorite game/tv series/movie? I love Pee-wee Herman. I wouldn't put anyone to task of finding that stuff. Oh, I like old school Sesame Street stuff and Muppets. Kermit is my favorite.

Favorite Themes? Owls, bacon, mustache themes. I also like tacky or kitschy themed things.

Do you like cup soups? If so, which are your favorite flavours? I am not a huge soup person

What are your book interests? Not a reader.

I like them. I'm a traveler.

I have my stinky husband. He can only do sugar-free stuff.

I'l try anything. I don't really like lemon or sour stuff though.

Yes on candles. I'm a showerer. (however you put that) yes on soaps

Are you looking for a mug for any place (Home/Work/School etc) in particular? just home

Would you prefer mugs that are Dishwasher/Microwave safe? It's nice. But not totally necessary.

Maddie - that still gives you plenty of time! Lol .  Glad to hear your ratties are doing well!! And how cool that you could have some in your classroom! My fourth grade teacher (way back when) had multiple class pets (snake, lizards, bearded dragon, fish). It was super neat as a student.

My favorite animal is a zebra, but I already have a lot of zebra mugs so maybe something different this time. I do love chihuahuas (I have 5!) so that could be an idea if you find a cute one.

Yes!!! I like larger sized mugs, but if they're a neat shape or have a cool handle or something, I'll love it! I've seen some that the cup looks like an elephant and the handle is his trunk or the sealife ones I posted on the first page. Those types of things I would love . I also think it's neat when something is painted/sculpted in the bottom of the mug.

Yes sure:  nudibranchs, nautilus, songbirds, cuttlefish, sturgeon, pufferfish

I'm more traditional, but subtle shape changes are okay.  I just don't like things that are bulky or akward to drink from.

I wouldn't mind a pony calendar or a cute little notebook or something like that. Probably not cups or pens though. Pony things aren't a priority for me right now, and I would probably prefer other extras.

Frogs and geckos! I would be ok with a frog and/or gecko mug if it were a nice/interesting shape I suppose?

I still adore all of these mugs, clearly Iv used the Owl so much his eyes have disappeared, the hand painted sunflower one and the sugar skull tumbler are my special favorites and no one else gets to use them xD.

OH! My moms awesome mug is missing too because she keeps it at work, she still adores it as well. ^^

I love the little WallE mug, so cute. I am actually very tempted to dress Munchkin up as WallE for Halloween, well that or Chewy.    My favorite mug was one from Etsy, it was a Happy Little Cloud (if any of you follow Bob Ross you know) but it went MIA in the office so I don't even have a picture to share.
