Re-Ments, anyone?

So, I just got into collecting Re-ments!  If anyone doesn't know, Re-ment is a brand of miniatures made in Japan, usually food (they make other stuff too).  They're really tiny and really adorable and really detailed and realistic!  There are a few other brands too, like Orcara, MegaHouse, and others, but Re-ment is the big one.  So, does anyone else on here collect Re-ments or other miniatures?  Show me pics and tell me where you get yours!

Most of mine I got when I lived in CA. I knew of a couple Japanese grocery stores and a bookstore that used to sell it. A couple full sets I got from an online shop which I don't think is in business anymore...
I only buy occasionally now and when I do it's usually from ebay. I used to buy/trade with other collectors on doll forums a bit too but it seems pretty rare for people to be selling/trading anything I'm interested in for a decent price recently.

Hehe, yea I was quite lucky to have access to it when I did.
I wish they'd start making the Puchi Sample Series like they used to. There are many sets I passed on or didn't complete when I had the chance to buy them retail that I regret now. Some of the prices on ebay are unbelievable. The quality of new series just doesn't seem the same either. For so long they only released character based goods. Now they've started releasing the Sample series again but the sets are kinda lackluster. I love the realistic mini fake foods the most.
I'm actually really happy about MiWorld minis. The quality/detail isn't quite as high as Re-Ment but they are still nice and are inexpensive and available in stores near me. I hope they are successful and pick up more brands, especially foods/restaurants.
