My very first Art Dump - Two G4 ponies, Elsa & Anna, G1 Seashell & Bubbles

So this is my very first art "dump" on the Arena.  I've been out of practice for a loooooooooong time now... Much longer than I care to admit.     Last weekend, I had a few short, glorious minutes of alone time, and I sketched (rather speedily, I might add -- though I'm sure it shows).  I'd almost forgotten how good it feels to pick up a pencil and draw again. 

Nothing particularly great here... but just felt like posting, because ponies.



Some quick sketches of G4 style ponies...

This one is my ponysona who is still developing.  She's still without a cutie mark, and I'm not entirely sure if she'll stay true to this sketch, but it's a start.  She's also without a name.  And, she's kind of a franken-pony. I drew her from different refs I found on DeviantArt.  (I liked one pony's hair, another's pose, another's eyes, etc.)  I didn't spend much time on her, but I was OCD enough to clean up the lines a bit.

This one is ... um, well... She was done in about 5 minutes or so. I *kind of* like here eyes, and that is all.   She's pretty bad.  But, I was playing around with some different things -- hairstyles, feathered fetlocks (fail!), and some other stuff.  Not particularly proud, but this is a "dump" thread.

And of course, what art dump would be complete without some Disney "Frozen" stuff?  This one is, of course, Elsa and Anna.  I'm not a "Princess" type girl, but if I were, I imagine I'd be a 50/50 combo of both Elsa and Anna.  All I had for reference was my 5-year old's coloring book.

Anyway, thanks for looking.  Still trying to get my groove back in the sketching department, and also working on a few custom ponies, too. 

Update:  Oh, and here's another one I did just before bedtime.  G1 to G4 Seashell and Bubbles. 
Seashell's neck is looking a little giraffe-ish, but whatev.

And I can't get tired of frozen art. I love Anna! She's just like me - clumsy and awkward and ridiculous lol. And she has the same name as me too lol. She's my soulmate princess.

I hope you will have some more time and inspiration for drawing soon, these are lovely! The second pony is actually my favourite, too. While the lines are more polished in the first pic and I like the pose in that one, the second one's sketchy quality makes it look more expressive and interesting to me. The character also looks beautiful, I love her hair! She makes me think of forests and the springtime.

Bubbles and Seashell look adorable, and you did a great job on the Frozen sisters as well.
