Jut be yourself.  Its you they want to see, not something that's fake.

Its ok to recall on past memories and stories where appropriate, especially if it strongly relates to the question asked.

I also find that the longer an interview is, the more likely you will move on <3

Goodluck!

I work in a Care Home with people with Dementia.

Show your warmth and caring side. I was told by my boss that some people have "that caring personality" and others just don't. Anyone can learn all the moving and handling, safeguarding and things easily, but the patience and love and understanding needs to be there already. Don't over look your other qualities though.  :) Hope that helps.

Do your research, ask questions that relate to certain disabilities, ask about meds training, manual handling, etc, seem interested. Show a sense of humour, and if nervous of the people interviewing you, imagine them sat on the toilet!

Thank you everyone! I'm trying to stay calm!

That's really cool, do you enjoy it? I hope my caring side comes across, as I care a lot (probably too much xD)

A lot of healthcare places are using behavioral interviews nowadays. If you google "behavioral interview" you'll find thousands of links to practice questions to help you prepare. They help jog your memory for situations to use as well.

Good luck!

Don't be nervous! Be excited!! Tell yourself that you're excited, not nervous. It helps ;)

Good luck!  Let us know how it goes!

I am a career counselor outside of the pony world.  Focus on what you do have, not what you don't, and send a thank you note afterwards!

The main problem is they want someone quite dedicated and I'll be potentially moving away in a few months and I wouldn't want to let them down. I'll decide when I find out if I got it or not though :)
