I noticed that too :-/  I think BAB has been giving them progressively less and less hair.  I bought Rarity Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie via the website and thought that Rarity was a factory error because she had half as much hair in her tail as Pinkie and Fluttershy.  However, when I took her to the store to return her I found that ALL of the Rarities were like that. 

Still, I'm excited that she'll be coming out and hope that it means that Luna and Cadance will also be released.

She looks absolutely adorable!  Must have!  Yes, she could use a little lot more hair but for some reason, looking at the pic it just doesn't matter to me.  She's still super cute!

As for Star Catcher, I'm curious if anyone other than me put "Minty" (or any other G1 or G3 pony) in the blank field of BAB's survey?

She looks absolutely wonderful! I will have to wait to see in-person as to purchasing though... Her hair does look rather short, and is that strands of tinsel that I see? If it is, a lot of young kids are going to have Princess Rat's-nest living on their bed after a while.
