Calling members from Finland!! I need a little advice

Hi Finnish lovelies...

There always seems to be alot of you on here so I thought I would ask for some tips.

I booked a mystery flight and we got lucky and are now going to beautiful Helsinki for 4 days from Tomorrow.. Yippeee!!

If anyone has some advice to share on where to go and what to do. (I love nature and getting away from the regular tourist traps) I would love a little advise from some locals..

I am not Finnish, but it is a dream of mine to travel there! I hope you have a great time. Oh, all the Moomin merch I'd buy! Plus I have a friend there. You will sure get lots of tips.

A finn here I'm terrible at travel advice though. I'd suggest the typical things, buy some Moomins, eat Karelian pies and go to sauna if possible. That's what I do when I'm home.

I'm not too familiar with the attractions in Helsinki but I would suggest visiting Suomenlinna. And yes on Karelian pastries (karjalanpiirakka)! You should be able to find them at almost any café, served with the traditional egg butter.

You should visit the Botanic Gardens at Kaisaniemi! Finland is really pretty in the summertime and I'm sure you'll love it here!

Ohhh I am sorry I don't know anything about the area, but have fun!  Sounds like a lovely place to visit!

I was going to suggest this but I checked the webpage and noticed the outdoor garden is currently closed for renovation... The greenhouses are open as normal, though.

I can also warmly recommend the Natural History Museum if you don't mind taxidermy.
