3. Day of the Dead - I'm in the minority here, in that I'm not such a fan of dotd designs.

Speaking of cemeteries and spooky scenes and ravens... I found THE CUTEST fabric at Joann's today in their Halloween cottons. I think I will make a ball gown for my Monster High Spectra out of it. I may go buy more so I can make myself some PJ bottoms out of it or something.

I actually looked into some when I was making a henna design pony recently. I had a bit of a go and the result was really fun.

I have a question, up for vote?

If you know your partner has likes other than those on the form, either through knowing them a little over time or from hardcore stalking, is it okay to involve those, too? Or is it better to just stick to the stuff on THIS form?

I have always mixed the form with hardcore stalking.    It seems to give the greatest chance for success.

Okay, so I have to join the minority here, too.  In most cases, I'm not a DotD fan.  There have been a few DotD customs I've liked, but I'm pretty picky.  Here is an example of DotD that I just can't help liking!

It's fine with me if you want to incorporate things you learn about me by stalking!  I try to make it as easy as possible for partners to get to know me because I enjoy the "getting to know" someone part of swaps.

I would personally prefer my partner stick to my form - if I'd thought any of my other interest would be relevant to the task at hand I would have listed them. It's a Halloween swap so I want a Halloween pony

I'm ok with this, as long as the end result is still Halloween-themed and in-line with my likes. But I know I left out a lot of stuff I like, even Halloween stuff I like, on my form out of excitement lol.

I love DOTD designs. As far as mixing other interests and likes, if it helps you come up with a design then feel free to go for it as long as it fits the Halloween theme

I need to figure out how much the fabric would cost and I'll get back to you. Also, sometimes I think we are twins separated at birth

Questions:
3. Day of the Dead. I like day of the dead but for reasons unknown it doesn't make me think 'Halloween' isn't that odd?
4. Other interests. If its on my Pintrest Halloween board, sure, other than that I think I'd stick to the form.

In other news:
I think I know what I want to do. Its WAYYY out of my comfort zone and I hope it doesn't creep me out to make it I am excited to push my boundaries though

In reading comments, I saw a good point coming out!  I am fine with my other interests making their way in, but this is a Halloween swap and I'd really like the pony to feel Halloween-y!  So, I like Pokemon and Toothless for example, a pony in a costume of them would be cool, but not one that looks 100% one.
