Lego Building Project #1,210....Iron Man suit

Okay, here's how it all started. I was in the basement, staring at my Legos. The song 'Iron Man' came on my radio, it gave me the idea to try and build an Iron Man suit....out of Legos....so that it fits me. So I ran upstairs to grab reference and ran back down to my basement. Then I started building. I've gotten two pieces built so far. I'm currently trying to work on the hand. It's driving me insane, just a little. I've got a light-up brick for the arc reactor in the chest plate. I'll try and get some pictures once there is more built.

So, I've spent some time on and off, hiding in the basement, piles of Legos everywhere, a few Hot Wheels Lamborghinis here and there; building this suit.

Um, I've never tried to count because I've got five or six rolling drawer things full of Legos. Plus two or three boxes full of those awesome little plastic bricks.

Marking a spot as DH and DD are Lego fans and we all dig Iron Man.  I have nothing against Legos myself, but I'm the one who usually gets to clean them up and steps on them.

Good luck! That's going to take a lot of legos. Especially that reddish/brown color-if that's what you're going with or are you just using red?
