Wow, that never even occurred to me. It really is cool to have a worldwide collecting community that can communicate more or less instantaneously. Makes one wonder what the G1 collecting scene would be like now if the situation had been similar back then.

I was so young! I probably would have been lamenting all the time about how I couldn't buy anything.

I never would have gotten anything overseas either. I'd want them, but I never even was allowed to buy mail order ponies. I only finally did get one with babysitting money as a teen.  But as a kid no.

I also can try to pick up extras.  My town had a Walgreens, and they are all over the place in another nearby town.

Unfortunately this. Exclusives are something agreed between retailer and supplier - the fault lies as much with the retailer buyer as it does with Hasbro. All of these lines will be available to Hasbro subsidiaries across the world...its for retailers to then decide what they want to take.

But if is an exclusive that doesn't mean the store has an special contract wit the manufacturer to sell only to them?   

However that might have to do depending in some cases, since I have seen some  MH dolls who are Target or TRU exclusives at retail here, but they are in the tri-lingual box and don't carry the "only at"  story exclusive label in front 

Not always. Normally an "exclusive" is country or territory exclusive only. Its not financially worthwhile for a retailer to hold Hasbro to making the product internationally exclusive when they perhaps do not trade in other countries. So for Walgreens the agreement is probably US store exclusive - available only to them to sell in the US - and therefore Hasbro can find non US retailers to perhaps carry the item. Someone like TRU may hold the exclusivity to all countries where they trade or they perhaps only carry them as an exclusive in certain countries, hence why we see US TRU exclusives popping up in other retailers outside the US.

Oh man, I will have to start frequenting the Walgreens stores. If I see her I will go to all the local ones I can (there's a bunch by me) and buy all the ones I see so we can get one all the non-US Arena members who want one (at cost + shipping). I will keep my eyes peeled...

We've got a Walgreen's just a few blocks away from us (within walking distance).  I may have to start stalking over there, lol.  I can also try to pick up a few extras if I find her.

There is a Star Wars Boba Fet being released as a Walgreen's exclusive as well. My boyfriend is very interested so we will both be frequenting Walgreens often.

With her price that she is listed at I would think that she is only going to be coming with a comb or something else little. You wont get a big set for $4.99. I cant wait to see her also in person
