I just want to keep this thread alive. When do threads auto lock anyway? This isn't really worth showing, but meh. I'm just glad I finally did SOMETHING again. Working 60 hours a week, you don't have much time or drive to do artwork.

I love your Lovebeam! That was one of the weekly challenges I really wanted to do, the Colorswirl ponies get so little love, at least in the form of fan art.

The first painting is lovely too, something different from what you usually see here! Yet it is instantly identifiable as a pony art, provided that the viewer knows anything about MLP. I love the soft, dreamy look.

As for your auto-lock question, it only happens when the thread has been inactive for about six months. The previous comments were from July so there was still plenty of time. Now it's reset again, of course. I'm glad to see you've been able to spare a moment for art despite being busy with work! Drawing is a great way to relax but I totally know the feeling, not having the drive even when you get a moment of free time.
