Every time I have found the Funkos they have more massive paint flaws and weird mold issues. So I can't justify paying like $13 for something that messed up...at least the single brushables are cheap.

I agree that Funko ponies do have some major paint flaws but if you are willing to spend the time to weed through the paint flaws they do have decent quality. I understand where you are coming from but I am willing to pay the extra for some character variety....its exciting to get new ponies besides the mane 6...

Oh and I wanted to add that I also find this "gothic" or I don't know what to call it set awful......will not be interested in buying this. They all look bad but OOOhhhhhh Nooooo....Celestia looks the absolute worst...

I understand what you mean some waves QC needed some help, you just had to look through a few to pick a good one, but they have really improved them last couple waves!

Anyways that Celestia vector bothers me it doesn't really look like her, I think it's the hair.

I actually like this set--ponies with makeup like KISS is a pretty cool idea.

Unfortunately, I already have these characters--some of them several times over. I wish it had been another villain. The reasons the first two sets were so great was that they had a central villain and some brand new characters (though accompanied by repeats). I am probably gonna pass on this one. I hope they keep doing this and offer something better next year, rather than assuming we just don't like the TRU sets. Also, I hope whoever decided to give us this AS AN ALTERNATIVE to a favorite friends set with villain gets a face full of knuckles--in sandwich form!!! Now I have to wait TWO years for even a HOPE of another villain.

Unless my Hot topic only gets deformed ones...It's not the paint issues its the big bumps I see in the molds. Ans since they only have a few at a time there is not option of searching for a good one.

I think I just like Celestia cause of the stockings.

I haven't been checking the big Funkos but lately all the small Funko Minis I've been buying have issues. o_0 All from Hot Topic. I've gotten big white glue spots on them, tails falling out, scratches in the paint, and bulges like you said. I think they rushed production because everyone was clamoring for more of them.

I actually like these but dread the price of getting them all at once like that. Maybe when they have a MLP half off sale I'll get them.

I actually think Celestia and rarity look neat, but oh, poor fluttershy!  I'm really not a fan of the paintwork not going all the way around.  Half a sock/shoe just looks too weird for me.  I'm passing on these.
