Just checked and, by road, I am ~3150 miles away from my birthplace. I'm sure it's closer by a direct air route, but I don't know how to figure that one out, heh. I was born in Alaska, but have spent most of my life (and currently reside) in California.

I am a nomad, though I've not traveled nearly as much as I want in the last 7 years (I curse the economy and my lack of financial education at the time...more the latter than the former ha!). Tucson is just under 500 miles from my birthplace of Pomona, CA. I have many more miles to go. I'm not trying to get away, I just have the need to wander. Everywhere.
