Viz gets rights to Sailor Moon

I just watched the 2 new ones for this week- and they must have been cut completely from US TV- I've never seen them before! I had all of the later ones after R subbed, so it's so nice to see the beginning in its original form!

So was it the dubbed one you watched? If so, how were they named?

right now I think they're just airing the subtitled versions I think they'll have the english dub up in july when they announce the final english voice actors. they said they wanted a buffer before just.. releasing since there was a lot of work left to do.

This is neat. I grew up on Sailor Moon and was quite obsessed. I'm sad that they aren't using the English names but it'll be awesome to finally see if as it was meant to be.

I have a question if anyone knows. Will they be available either on DVD or Blu Ray? Or just online?

They should at least be available on DVD, if not also on blu-ray. i can't imagine them not releasing them on either format. They're just weekly putting up the JPN episodes online for the time being.
