Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers Movie

Sooooooooooo this may be old news to some, but Disney is making a Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers movie!!!

I hope it will be good!  I'm really excited.  I LOVED this series as a kid.  It could turn out very badly, I know.  But hopefully it will mean a great reboot for the series.   Supposedly the movie is supposed to be live action (and CGI I would guess) and feature a back story for the main characters. 


What do you think about it?  Have you heard of Rescue Rangers?  Did you watch it as a kid?  Do you think you will check out this movie when it comes out?

I heard about this. I was super excited... Until I saw the live action part. I can handle the transition from 2D to 3D, but live action... Blergh.

I loved this cartoon as a kid, but I don't have very high hopes for the movie, I suppose I'll see it when/if it hits netflix but until then I'd like to keep my good memories intact.

I really enjoyed the cartoon when I was a kid. (I didn't love it as much as Duck Tales, but it was still pretty great.)   

It's sort of fun to see things that I loved growing up making come-backs, however, I'm not sure how I feel about it being live-action.  Maybe they're going to do the movie sort of like the Alvin and the Chipmunks and Smurfs movies with real people and CGI versions of the animal characters?  I guess it could be super adorable or super terrible.

Yep, I imagine it'll be much like the new Alvin & the Chipmunks movies...  which actually weren't all that bad...  so I could get excited about Rescue Rangers!  Oooooooooh Monty!  I love Gadget and Monty!

Oh I loved that show as a kid!  My mom used to call me Gadget   

They are making it live action?  That seems like an odd choice.

We'll find out I guess.  I loved this series as a kid, but who knows if they'll even use the same voice actors.  It may not have the same feel as the series did back in the day.

I wish they would re do DuckTales. Scrooge McDuck is the only Disney character that I really like.
