Looking for a bit of help with Photobucket

Yeah, I know.  Photobucket stinks, but I haven't been able to find any other picture hosting site that's any better:/

Anyway, I've been photographing my collection, and I'm trying to organize the files into albums.  I'm dealing with a ton of sub-albums, and I'm not happy with some of the pictures that it's automatically assigning as the sub-album thumbnail.  It seems to automatically take the last picture I upload, and I'd like to be able to pick the photo, and keep it.  It's a little thing, but it's bothering me since a lot of the most recent photos are the ugliest ones, and none of them match since I did two completely separate photoshoots.

The gallery here used to allow you to pick which picture you wanted to represent the album, so I'm assuming that Photobucket could have that capability if they wanted it.  Does anybody know if that is possible in Photobucket, and if so, how do you do it?

Never really tried to do that but I can nudge this up for you. Hopefully someone can help.

As far as I know, the only possible way to set a photo that you want as the cover is to delete it from your album and re-upload it so that it's the last photo in the album.

I hate 'the new' photobucket.  It took forever to find out how to delete a picture o.o

I think sundown is right though--it seems to take some of your most recently uploaded pictures and features them <3

I figured it wouldn't have that functionality, but I was hoping!  I wish I could find a better photo service, but they all seem to be changing for the worse:/  I miss the old photobucket!

I like Flickr, my only complaint is having to make a Yahoo account to sign in.

I converted from photobucket to flickr. Not really a fan of either, but I think I prefer flickr out of the two

I use Google's Picasa Web.  Works really well for me so far!
