G4 Dash custom

Dash is made from a mix of sculpey firm and sculpey premo and painted with acrylics. She stands 8.5" (21.59cm) tall and weighs nearly a kilogram.

Wow, what an incredible job you did!  Love how you blended the colors in her hair together.  Makes me want to play with Sculpey again

So awesome! I love how smooth the sculpting is, her expression is pure Rainbow Dash-ness, proportions are perfect and painting is flawless. great job, would love to see more!

Oh wow, I was already going to bump this over to Customs before I realized you sculpted the whole thing. :shocked: She looks marvellous, I second everything Uninu said. The expression is perfect, I love her little smirk! Both the sculpting and painting look factory flawless. Remarkable work! Are you planning to make any of her friends?  :)

Amusingly, I got bumped over here FROM customs where I had posted it originally (I was ignorant of the difference.) And thank you! As for her friends, I'd like to make a rarara but I'm intimidated by her curly mane. Maybe some time in the future.

^ Don't worry, I don't think you're ignorant and it was only recently that we made this decision to put all sculptures and plushies here in Art (and to rename the forum Arts & Crafts instead of 'Pony Art' to better describe the contents) anyway. Before that some people posted their creations here and some in Customs as there were no clear guidelines as to where they should go. It's only a matter of how you define things; I like how this division seems to give a well-deserved spotlight to works created from scratch!
