I don't draw Velvet Fog here often enough... (a pony OC other than my ponysona... I'm in deep!)
(also, his unnamed friend here. I swear, I have tried to come up with so many names for that pony...)

Digital piece. I'm happier with the background than I am with this Pinkie...

And a piece I'm a bit happier with.

Thanks, all! (my usual art spots are not all-ages friendly, so I've got no links to provide...)

(and yes, I'm glad pony Spock was recognized!)

I second the others, your style is very cute! The happy drawing of Pinkie Pie portrays her perfectly and there's so much emotion captured in that last picture. ^.^

@UrocyanFox Yeah, I'm in an art class right now and so much of what I'm doing is practice figures and nudes, so while a lot of it is not 'racy' in nature (though I suppose some are), I think my overall gallery has more nudity than I'd link to a pony forum... and my tumblr just fills up with other people's not-necessarily-safe-for-work things from other fandoms.

@Griffin Thank you!

I'll just have to do some more ponies... My old tablet got damaged so for the time being it's all traditional, which means mistakes are harder to erase, but it's also more familiar since I'm doing all traditional work in my classes and was doing only traditional work for most of my life before the tablet.

I found an old sketch of Cat Detective! And a random girl...

This was done just about a year ago, when my hair (and consequently, my ponysona's) was shorter. Although a year ago my hair must have been a bit longer than that. I had a limited palette, there must have been just a box of Crayolas or something and some copy paper sitting around that I made use of.

Oops I keep making OCs...

(actually, I'm USUALLY ponifying characters from roleplays I've been in or stories I've written, but it comes out to about the same thing)

Anyway, this lovely lady was a roleplaying character whose playstyle when it came to conflicts was guile over force-- or simply not being there when the conflict occurred, if at all possible. Ponifying her name was easy, since it meant 'star' already... And despite a life of roguery, she's very warm and caring and was the party's team mom. I enjoyed designing a pony form for her.

(I've got no idea how to ponify her fella's name, and he's technically not my character but since I was drawing her, I had to draw him.)

An archery pony that is mine. I guess they'd be rivals if they existed in the same world... but since the unnamed archery pony is a design and not a character I'd really be doing anything with as a pony... His coat turned out super akhal teke even though his mane and tail did not. (I used a lot of gold and blue on this page... MOSTLY blue, but...)

Also, I swear I design ponies that aren't unicorns. Honest.

Well, okay, this one's another unicorn. A snobby fancy unicorn. Whose neck came out too long, oops.

Okay, and these two are also unicorns... (and from a story I wrote about not-ponies, where one of the characters' secret passion is cooking, and he's really very skilled, especially with knifework, and to unwind from the stress of his job, he makes elaborate meals every weekend and I am unrepentantly all about food)

OKAY! An earth pony! Another attempt at turning roleplaying characters into ponies. And if they were ponies, my guy would definitely be challenged to get along without magic, after being dragged along on a camping trip. (it's possible that he actually doesn't have a visible cutie mark under his blanket, since his talent would be invisibility spells... but he'd wear the blanket regardless)

Aaand I found some old digital ponies... I'd done a huge character creation project/self-challenge, back when I had a working tablet. And most of them are not great in terms of art quality and I feel I've improved too much since I drew them, but a couple of them held up about as well as the ponies I'm drawing now, I thought.

(he's a hoofer!)

Stunt pony! Okay, my art has improved since I drew him, but I like his concept a lot. And I do so many unicorns and like, one earth pony, I needed to represent some pegasi.

So, there's two from my 'Hooray for Hollyhoof' character design project, and I'll just have to redraw all the others...

(I design so many characters I never do anything with...)

Thank you! I love coming up with characters so much... I don't know what I'll do with any of them, but they are a lot of fun to design.

One of the better sketches from a recent page... Need to finish up a few others, I've been playing around a lot with character design while trying to recover from an inopportune sore throat.

Very cute! I adore the expression, it makes the pony look both curious and a little shy at the same time. :)
