My very first customs!! and a question.

So...some background, first of all. I'm graduating from high school this year, and I wanted to incorporate ponies somehow into my grad party and...this happened.

They are made from Blank Ponies, rehaired with Dollyhair (Forget-me-not for the blue ones and Raincloud for the silver) and tinsel, and painted with those fancy-pants sharpie paint marker things.

My school's initials are WLW, and the colors are blue & silver.

I haven't really styled them yet, so please excuse the tinsel flying everywhere, etc.

Also, a question. I thought it would be kind of cool if I could get people to sign them at my party, but wasn't sure how to do this. Would ultra-fine sharpies bleed and/or damage the pony? What should I use? Or would this be a bad idea in general?

Those are very cool!  Sharpies do bleed over time.  You could use India Ink, but until it is sealed, it can smear.  You might look into paint pens?

Thanks everyone! Colorscapesart, I had that idea too, but wan't sure if a bunch of high schoolers would be able to use paint pens without getting the paint all over the place...

You could always have them sign in pencils and then trace over the siggies in acrylics.
