Quick Question for those who own G4 Plumsweet
« on: April 10, 2014, 08:40:13 AM »
Is the light pink streak in her hair fading pink?
I swap my display ponies every month or so and have brought out Plumsweet today, only to realize the light streak in her hair looks very similar to my Love Melody (who's hair *I believe* is in minty unfaded condition)

Can anyone confirm if her streak is prone to fading? The room gets quite a bit of sunlight during the day so I'm a little paranoid :/

I've been wondering about that myself. In general has anyone noticed fading in G4 pink hair? Fluttershy's hair in particular looks just like fading pink and I want to know if I need to keep my Fluttershy army in the shade...

None of the G4s have the fading pink, the pink they used lack that orange hint that the fading pink/pussycat usually have. Pink can still fade, just like all other colors though, but I dont think you need to be overly scared.

I haven't checked my Plumsweet (who has spent time in the sun) but when I get home tomorrow I can check for you.

Pinks and reds will always fade the quickest and fastest of any other colours unfortunately.

As mentioned its not the same as the original fading pink which will turn white if sunlight blinks at it funny. But it will fade quicker than a lot of other colours just because its pink.

Just tried checking my Plumsweet against my lovely pink Gingerbread only to find she (Gingerbread) has gone as white as my others :(

So checked her against Tornado, his tail is very, very peachy in comparison. I tried getting a pic but it's pitch black here and we don't have decent lights so you can't really get a true pic of the colour.

I don't have a Plumsweet, but I have noticed that part of my Dewdrop Dazzle's hair has turned white.  She hasn't been placed directly in sunlight, but sunlight has been hitting her.

:( Oh man, that's a bummer. Better be careful, then...

Once I think about it, it's not white yet, but it's definitely paler than the rest of her hair.

sparkykandy, yikes! that's no good :( I have tried comparing my Plumsweet and Dewdrop's hair but I still can't be sure if they are the same shade. Nevertheless, I know now to keep my Dewdrop away from sunlight :/
