That is such an awesome piece of work you did there.  I just got my first BnG for my birthday in December and they are really cool.  Plus I have always had a special place in my heart having grown up with the g1 cartoon.

What kind of paint do you use as the primer? And do you hand paint the FBR or airbrush?

Shadow: the primer i use is Armory white primer. I get it from gaming stores (wherever you can get miniatures and mini supplies), and atm im handpainting my fbrs, since i live in an apartment and the air compressor i borrowed from a friend a while ago (and finally returned cause it was gathering dust) was ridiculously loud, and i dont wanna be "that neighbor"

If i ever have any spare cash and find a nice quiet model id like to try airbrushes... If only for fbrs and the occasional gradient. Right now i sink SO much time into killing brushstrokes... Been working on a baby gingerbread commission all day and omg white is the worst behaved color ever!

Bngs were some of my favorites as a kid, after TEs and princesses =)

Wow! I just assumed it was an airbrush cause it looks so great! I'm trying to do a white FBR right now and it's kicking my butt. Haven't touched it for months cause it's annoying me so much. You have massive talent!

Yeah white is a bear. Mines at a point where it looks good, then i turn on the ottlight and zomg cloudy!!!  Tempted to tell my commission that itll be done in a week, but shes not allowed to look at it in light.
