I only have two SS ponies but they came out of the spa looking nice. I rinsed the pony under cold tap water, holding my hand above the pony to break the stream of water and make it gentler. I then lathered a bar of antibacterial soap in my hands, and gently massaged the lather over the pony. I brushed them over very very gently with a soft toothbrush, making sure to go lighter on areas that already had flocking loss. Then rinse under cold water again, grab a piece of paper towel and press it against the pony to remove excess water, and let them dry. After drying I ran the toothbrush over them again just a tiny bit to fluff up any flocking that looked flattened. I think the trick to using a toothbrush is to start just pressed against the pony and then brush up and away, as if you were trying to wipe a spill off of carpet. If you swoop towards the pony it puts pressure on the flocking. Both my Wind Whistler and Truly had strong glue though, I don't know if this would accidentally deflock one with degraded glue.
