Depending on what you like... I only play a select number of games though

Smurfs' Village, Animal Academy, Fumbies (pet-like game) and DragonVale are my faves. And Fur Fighters, but that's a port of my favorite Dreamcast game

You can get a lot of final fantasy games for ipad! I've been playing the first one on my ipod, but there's an ipad port too.

You can also play the Phoenix Wright games and Ghost Trick, both of which are super fun.

I also like Zenbound, which is a game where you manipulate a piece of wood and string to cover the wood with as much string as possible to soothing music. Oops, that one's an iphone game

Im not sure if its on ipad but I always liked alchemy

I like hidden object games so play Mirrors of Albion and Secret Society.
Doors and Rooms, 100 Floors and 100 Chambers are cool... if you like puzzles and looking answers up online
There's also "speed geo lite" which is a world based game where you tap on a map to find the right countries - brilliant if you like geography

I am going to recommend the one game I always recommend when this comes up.

Fairway Solitaire. It's a mash-up of solitaire and golf, (though it's more like solitaire really) and while it's simple and easy to learn, it's hard to master. Great time waster.

Depends on what you like but I like the lego games - Harry Potter and Star Wars.

Temple Run is good, too.
