Probably my favorite of the pony friends due to how paradoxical she is (even though I've never owned her).

"Kingsley the Lion" sounds like a fairly masculine title, yet it's a she...yet she has a mane...which only male lions (and really old female lions entering a menopause-like state) have.

It's not like all the Pony Friends were female (i.e., Edgar the Elephant) so what gives, Hasbro?

I go with poetic licence After all not many lions are pink or have giant blue paw prints painted on them so I guess they just went with what felt right.

Honestly I always assumed they gave her a mane so that she was 'brushable' I think all of the other pony friends had 'brushable' hair somewhere on them, didn't they?

That and artistic license of course, like Hathorcat said :B.

I think 'she' is cute. I have her. I love her cute little paw prints. I know shes a very confusing pony friend but I think it adds to her mystical appearance.
