She is really cool looking, I can't wait to get her.

I love fantasy parts, but can't own dolls with them. They are so high maintenance!  Does anyone else feel the same?  Like,  I love my Soom Sov centaur,  but don't want her hooves. So I bought a human version and put my centaur up for sale lol.

I love the way the fantasy parts look, although my dolls actually don't have any (I think they are gorgeous but a little too hard to dress around, and I don't sew)

Personally I love fantasy parts! I've never actually owned a human BJD, I just love those hooves and wings and things too much! The only time it gets annoying is when the parts don't fit properly and have a tendency to come off. That really irks me as I feel that with the amount we pay for bjds they should be near flawless!

I'm very fond of fantasy parts, too. Generally human dolls don't interest me as much. Right now only my pukifee (who is not actually here yet, but yeah) is all human.

Don't forget, Pukifees have elf ears, so she's not strictly human!  ;)

I guess I'm alone. I don't care for fantasy parts on my own dolls. It's neat to see what others collect but fantasy parts aren't for me.

I love fantasy parts and themes.  I think that's what interested me in dolls in the first place.  Although, I'd never object to more pretty pictures of non-fantasy dolls. More please!

Nah, I'm not into fantasy parts for dolls either. I like my dolls completely human and in normal, human skintones. Fantasy type dolls can be fun to see in other peoples collections but they're not for me, my exception being pet dolls I suppose since I do have a winged cat bjd,  :) but I've never had much interest in anthros/cyborgs/etc..

I have three dolls with human bodies, and one with deer legs. He is my most stable stander. I can set him up and not worry about him at all.

I just got Pullip Aurora, (my first BJD, eeeep so exiting!) but I have a few questions. How do I keep her "wings" from weighing down her back and bending her at the middle when she's on her stand, and how can I get the plastic around her limbs off without damaging or undressing her? Her costume is really complicated, so I would like to not have to remove it all.

Ummm... sorry to tell you but Pullip is not a BJD.
Pullip has another type of joint.

Sorry, I meant the other doll I got at Christmas. I was copying and pasting a lot of stuff, and the part in parentheses was meant for a post on a different forum.

Wheeee! She's here! My little Ante <3 She hasn't got a name yet but I'm thrilled that the wig and eyes I got for her suit her as well as I'd hoped (though I just noticed her eyes are lopsided in this picture). I haven't had time to get any clothes for her yet, but these jeans I had for another kind of doll fit her perfectly. She's got a lot of personality.

I had thought about taking her torso off and putting in on my tinytaur body, but I just love her so much as she is! <333
