Tell me what this is plant people!

Ok iv had this thing for years... my mom bought it when I got really into gardening a few years back, they were originally planted in some tiny little baby dress shoes, which i found kinda creepy xD... When I noticed that most of the shoe plants of died and this one was on its way out, i decided to rescue it and gave it a new home. it quickly outgrew that pot so i moved it into this, i guess sort of average sized fishbowl, now its quickly outgrowing that one as well.

THE POINT IS! I have no idea what this thing is, i love gardening and think of myself as somewhat knowledgeable, but this thing has eluded me. Im pretty sure its some type of succulent.. the leaves are so thick with moisture, that if you slightly press on them they leave your fingers wet. but its overall a small leaf vine, however i have noticed larger leaves this past year when its grown even thicker, so perhaps they get even bigger lol.

it's very popular in Greece we make nice salads with that greek name for this plant is(gleestreetha) its very yummy!!!

I keep purslane around because I think it looks nice but the taste puts me off.  It's just so bitter!  My husband loves it but I can't have any.

So iv had this thing for a few years like i mentioned, but its lived in my basement laundry room that entire time, which is a pretty dark room xD, but its got a big window to sit in and it gets a lot of light during the later hours, sometimes I forget to water it, which is fine because it holds tons of moister, but its just gotten so big lol.

I might have to move it outside to my garden some day if it keeps getting bigger lol.
