I think he just comes in a normal box. I didn't get a box for mine because I was headed straight back to the convention with him!

My step-mother is a seamstress and wants to start making cosplays to sell, but she is clueless about the cosplay world so she asked me to collect a bunch of photos to look at so she gets the idea. May I use your photo please? I promise it won't be use in any promotional way or posted anywhere online, I'm just going to print a bunch of photos of cosplayers and show them to her, along with pictures of the actual character, so she can see what cosplaying is about.

Toothless actually looks pretty cute in the Toothless hoodie! When I was heading out of the mall, I saw a little girl with a Toothless dressed up in a tank top and a tutu. It just looked so wrong and hilarious at the same time. The guy who was stuffing my Toothless asked me "So are you going to dress him up, or leave him naked like he should be?" Said he hates seeing people dress Toothless up all girly

Hopefully they will! I've been waiting for them to release a new Dodger or Oliver plush or beanie, but recently they've just been re-releases. I'm sure I've seen Bolt not too long ago (then again, they had a rather strange one available at Disneyland Paris a couple of years back which I could be thinking of).

I've always found his promo art to be kinda... Funny. Probably because I can't get mine in any pose other than 'sit'

He was in stock last night, but I don't fancy paying £5 in postage . I'll ask in Covent Garden on Tuesday and mention he's on the website but out of stock so do they have any in store pleeeease xD. Unless they have Scootaloo. Then I'll be forced to make a difficult decision!

Oddly, DS had the Chihuahua from Oliver (and Lady & the Tramp) plushies. Loads of them. It really boggled me because...he's a really minor character. I've never seen Oliver & Company plushes, yet I know Dodger is hugely popular. Not that I want to complain about minor characters getting love, it just seemed an odd choice when there were no other plushies from that film.

I saw him and, at first, I thought 'Tito?!' until I saw him up close. I was glad to see a minor character, but also disappointed that there was still no sign of Oliver & Co. I kinda wish they'd do something like Disney Store Japan (anniversary event, 100 different characters, many minor/overlooked characters).

And wow, the amount of people asking for a restock of Toothless already!

If you missed out on Toothless I wouldn't panic just yet. They could restock just before or just after the movie comes out. But if they don't I'm fully expecting them to rerelease him when the DVD comes out. BABW is very good at listening to what their customers want. If there's enough of a demand, he will be back.

still have to put his wings on, but he's done otherwise.

he's far from perfect. since the pattern was made for a 4' dragon and i made a 7" dragon. so some details didn't work out riight.
plus he still needs his wing. (hands are tired from all the hand stitching)

i did follow the pattern and the tail ended up on the wrong side..... grr. oh well. i'll be making a prosthetic tail and saddle out of leather later. but all in all i'm please.

And your handmade plushie is so cute rosierjay! The little spike and claw details look great. Show us when he has his wings and such too!


I've just finished making my planned modifications to my Night Fury. I made him some new wings out of minky (it's a slightly darker black than his body, but it's a similar shade to his fins so it looks alright) and sewed them onto his back permanently. They are very soft and floppy and do not get in the way of cuddles at all!
I then used the material of the original wings to make another tail fin to replace the red one. I think I managed to make it match pretty well!

I have tried three shops in the last few weeks with no joy for Scootaloo. I might give up and try to grab her whilst I'm on holiday! Good news is - my little sister saw the promo for Toothless and wants one desperately, so my mum will get one for me at the same time if I can't get one before I go away I can't wait!
