is there any info out there for 2014? from the NY toy fair?

  i have been looking everywhere trying to find some info for hasbro's plan for LPS this year from the toy fair but i get nothing.   anyone manage to snag info?

i also saw the new wave in store the other day. they are quite cute, the mom and baby sets.   they look more like the g2 style.  so im confused is hasbro junking the new design in favor of the old model??     i like either or so it doesnt reall bother me either way.  im mostly curious

 Yep, Hasbro's actually redesigning the G3 line for fall! Someone on the LPS forum was calling them G3.5s, which I think is cute. Here are some videos!

 So basically, it looks like the numbering system -might- be going away for these, and they'll all be getting names. Big focus on customization and "decobits" and themed playsets. The style has become even more dynamic, and from the looks of it, the heads may still bobble like the later G3s. Lots of characters from the TV show, including Madame Pom, Sugar Sprinkles, Minka's turtle pal, one of Vinnie's dancing lizard friends, etc. There will be repeats of the core cast with different expressions and poses, but also a LOT of new unique pets.

 G2 did also make a return! Nothing displayed at Toy Fair but I think Hasbro recognized that the G2s are very loved and missed and may continue to produce them simultaneously with G3.5.

 So yeah, G3's getting an upgrade this year, while G2 is getting an encore.   We've also got a couple waves of blind bags that are G3 molds with the older G2 style eyes. One has Minka as a chase pet, and I think the wave after that has Zoe.

 I collect all the gens so I'm pretty excited about everything!

I was starting to think LPS was on it's last legs so it's good to see there are plans to revamp the line. I quite like the new styles in the video's, lots of personality and cute details.  I'm not sure about all the deco bits as I prefer the pets without accessories and it sounds like if you don't use the deco bits the pets are going to have visible holes in them. I sure won't mind them releasing some G2 again.

I like the idea- probably won't collect the playsets or show characters, but it's cute for kids, and I'm interested in the singles.
