Brazil Twist hair colour

So I always thought that Brazil Twist had a medium red hair colour - I know mine does, and most others I've seen. But I was looking at the one BerryMouse has for sale currently, and apparently her hair was a match for Firebird - much brighter and more orange.

Are there two different versions? Has anyone else seen another firebird-red haired Brazil Twist? Thoughts?

Hmmm...I ll need to pull mine out to check. But I thought her hair was supposed to be an orangey red in colour? Not exact to Firebird of course but closer to it than the much richer red options - so an orangey red with emphasis on the red [if that makes sense ].

I know there is no exact match but which DH/RD colour is yours closest to in shade out of curiosity?

Mine is really close to Firebird.  She's completely original and mint - her previous owner pulled her off a damaged card herself.

Actually, I've been meaning to post about this. I have 2, one is sort of an orange-red, and the other is about Sugarberry's color. I think they're both original; I bought them both straight from Brazil.

I just moved halfway across the country, so I'm not sure where my box of Brazil ponies is in the pony room heap.

Mine's pretty close to a match with pomme de amour, as far as Dollyhair colours go.

The body on that redhead Twist looks lighter too.  Like, closer to her eye color.  How interesting!

Now this is interesting! You can clearly see that Skeen's pony has neon hair and is darker compared to Pythia's pony which is paler and has a more true red colour to her hair.

Paradise and Sugarberry come to mind.  As far as I can remember, my Paradise's hair is a match for my Twist (so, orange hair), but I'll have to check when I get home.  Sugarberry has much redder hair, and I know my SB does NOT match either my Paradise or Twist.   My SB seems to have duller hair too but her hair is more damaged than either my Twist or Paradise, who are both VNM.

Mmm, I don't remember the body color being different, but maybe I didn't notice.

Now this has reminded me!!! A long time ago I was asked to make a replacement tail for a Brazil Paradise and the closest match was Sunburst's red, sugar berry and firebird were just too bright.

It wouldn't surprise me if there are two kinds of red hair.

So, to compare her with my Twist:

It looks like Paradise has orange hair, as shown where the sunlight hits her tail.  The rest is in shadow.  But now it looks like Twist has red hair in comparison!  Hers now looks more neon like normal Sugarberry colored hair.   I am going to have to get Twist, Paradise, and Sugarberry all side by side and try to match up corresponding DH colors, I think.

Mine is the lighter version with a reddy orange color, I was hoping to give her a replacement tail from a us twist but nooo lol here is the comparison between their hair colors
